The throttle body block off plates are used to block off the stock GM fuel pressure regulator and compensator side on the 82/84 Corvette, 82/83 Camaro, Firebird and Trans Am throttle bodies. This allows modifications to the motor that require a higher fuel pressure and to be able to run an external fuel pressure regulator with non-stock pressures over 13psi safely. A MUST have item if you intend on increasing your fuel pressure to 20psi or greater.
